Wagga Wagga in NSW, Australia, is experiencing massive flooding at the moment and more than 9000 people have been evacuated from the region.

The creatures left behind, however, have had to try to adapt and survive. 

These are pictures of the spiders in Wagga Wagga that are trying to escape the floodwaters. They’ve built enormous, expansive webs in order to reach higher ground.

Kind of awesome… but at the same time… imagine falling into one :S Bleurgh
